I chose "Drawing is a means of finding your way about things, and a way of experiencing, more quickly than sculpture allows, certain tryouts and attempts". I chose this quote because as an artist who mostly draws, I find this to be very true. With drawing, you build up your work, erasing, resizing, and replacing. These are many things that can't be done with just clay or paint. I feel as though this is a good example because it shows the process of building up a drawing and how, though it is not finished, the entire picture is clear.
